This specimen was lot 31596 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alexander III Rouble 1893-AT MS61 NGC. An entirely white Mint State example with choice luster and a few light grazes atop the obverse that define the grade." This date is from a scarce type struck 1886-94. In 1886, the ruble was reduced to 20 grams after having been fixed at 20.73 grams since 1798.

Recorded mintage: 1,485,000.
