This specimen was lot 25407 in Heritage sale 3019 (Chicago, April 2012), where it sold for $2,760. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alexander III Proof 1/2 Kopeck 1888 СПБ, Crowned Alexander III monogram in wreath / Date and value, Proof 64 Brown NGC. Well struck with mirrored fields and chocolate color." This type is listed for 1881-94. Most dates are common with, of course, the exception of the proofs.
