This specimen was lot 75457 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $219.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 10 Kopeks, 1868-CNB HI. St. Petersburg Mint. Alexander II. PCGS MS-64." In 1867, the weight of the ten kopeks was reduced from 2.07 g, 0.750 fine silver to 1.80 g, 0.500 fine silver and struck in that form until the collapse of the regime. Initials HI stood for mintmaster Nikolai Iossa.
