This specimen was lot 43905 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1822-CNB NA. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. Well struck with lovely deep old envelope tone highlighted by iridescent hues hugging the devices that pop out when tilted in the light. An attractive example sure to please." This is a common date of a type struck 1810-26 but nice specimens are expensive.
