This specimen was lot 43908 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 10 Kopek, 1822-CNB NA. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. Well struck with attractive mottled grey tone." This is a common date of a type struck 1810-26. The denomination was converted to copper in 1831 but other silver ten kopeks occur later. Initials ПД stand for mintmaster Pavel Danilov, who served 1820-25.
