Sincona sale 19, lot 475

This specimen was lot 475 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 150 (about US$188 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Rouble 1821, St. Petersburg Mint, ПД. Old ink marks. Good very fine." This type is listed for 1810-26 and is fairly common in circulated condition. This date is common tho an 1821/0 overdate exists.

Recorded mintage: 840,000.

Specification: 20.73 g, 0.868 fine silver, this specimen 20.77 g.
