Russia 1820-SP PD ruble Dav-281
This specimen was lot 31167 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $2,280. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia: Alexander I Rouble 1820 СПБ-ПД MS64 NGC, St. Petersburg mint. A sensational example offering a razor sharp strike that leaves ample detail within fields demonstrating glassy luster, these graced with opulent silver and pale golden tones. Rarely is this type found better, or with such abundant eye appeal." This type is listed for 1810-26 and is fairly common in circulated condition. This date is common tho 1820/1, 1820/19 overdates are mentioned along with assayer PS. PD (ПД) stands for Paul Danilov.
