This specimen was lot 34933 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $420. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia: Alexander I 5 Kopecks 1813 CПБ-ПC MS63 NGC, St. Petersburg mint. A fully choice piece radiating a pale blue luster, with exquisite execution of the details within the imperial eagle motif, and textured fields from noticeable signs of die deterioration made evident from the solid strike." This type is listed for 1810-26 and has a low catalog value in circulated condition. The regime vacillated between silver and copper five kopeks but only silver was struck 1810-31.
