This specimen was lot 24912 in Heritage sale 3030 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $1,880. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alexander I Kopeck 1805 EM, Ekaterinburg mint, XF40 Brown NGC. An extremely rare, two-year type, with the 1804 essentially uncollectible. This issue is quite rare, and we have seen very few examples offered. This piece has a nicely struck obverse, with softly struck reverse, and notable flan flaws." This is a product of the Ekaterinburg mint. This type is reported for 1804-07 only.
