This specimen was lot 4310 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Kopek, 1801-EM. Ekaterinburg Mint. NGC MS-61 BN. Tied with one other example for finest graded at NGC, with none submitted at PCGS. Last year of issue, Paul I was dispatched to the afterlife by assassins in March of 1801." This is a product of the Ekaterinburg mint and is recorded for 1797-1801.

Recorded mintage: 1,708,000.
