This specimen was lot 72164 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Siberia. 10 Kopeks, 1780-KM. Suzun Mint. Catherine II (the Great). NGC AU-55 Brown. A handsome, mark-free example of the type, with just some slight wear on the obverse center, and smooth brown to dark brown patina." This type was struck 1763-80 in the Suzun (Kolyvan) mint for circulation in Siberia during the reign of Catherine the Great. On this type, two martens support a shield with the date and value.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
