This specimen was lot 4305 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 10 Kopek, 1779-CNB. PCGS AU-50 Secure Holder. Lightly toned." This coin, struck in this style 1777-82 at St. Petersburg, is just a little light to be classified as a dime, tho it is one tenth of a ruble. This denomination was also struck in copper.

Specification: 2.37 g, 0.750 fine silver, .057 troy oz ASW.
