This specimen was lot 129 in Sincona sale 78 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 1,100 CHF (about US$1,318 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Peter I. 1682-1725, Poltina 1725, Red Mint. NGC XF Details. Cleaned." This poltina, or half ruble, was struck 1723-25 and is scarce but not rare like previous issues. Another type (KM 161.2) exists for 1725 with the St. Petersburg mintmark.
