This specimen was lot 3120 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,900 (about US$2,493 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FERDINAND III. 1/2 Reichstaler 1639, mit Titel Ferdinands III. Unbekannter Münzmeister. RR Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich. (city of Regensburg, half thaler of 1639, in the name of Ferdinand III, unknown mintmaster. Very rare, handsome patina, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1638-39. It was 45 kreuzer or three-fourths of a gulden.
