This specimen was lot 4134 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €16 (about US$22 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm IV. 1840-1861. Ku.-Pfennig 1849, A. Vorzüglich +. Erworben 1977. Münztyp ab 1846 mit Ring geprägt mit Perlkreisrand. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William IV, 1840-61, copper three pfennig of 1849, extremely fine or better. This type was introduced in 1846 with a ring of pearls.)"

This type was struck 1846-56 and 1860.
