This specimen was lot 1125 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "PRUSSIA: Friedrich Wilhelm IV, 1840-1861, AR 1/6 thaler, 1848-A, NGC graded MS65." This type was struck at Berlin 1843-52.
'Recorded mintage: 912,669, fairly oommon date.
Specification: 5.345 g, .521 fine silver.
