This specimen was lot 2376 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €10,000 (about US$13,757 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH Friedrich Wilhelm I., der Soldatenkönig, 1713-1740. Dukat 1733 EGN, Berlin. Kluge, Der Dukatenkönig, in: Auktion Künker 324, S. 17-58, Nr. 29/1. GOLD. Selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit hübscher Goldpatina, vorzüglich +. (kingdom of Prussia, Frederick WIlliam I, the Soldier King, 1713-40, ducat of 1733, Berlin mint. very attractive example with fine gold patina, extremely fine or better.)"
This scarce type was struck 1733-34. Another ducat, KM 214/Fr-2338 struck 1733-40, featured the Order of the Black Eagle on the reverse.
