Stephen Album sale 47, lot 1365

This specimen was lot 1365 in Stephen Album sale 47 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $480. The catalog description^[1] noted, "PORTUGAL: Maria II, 1834-1853, AE 20 reis (vintém), 1833, one-year rare type, EF, R, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. These coins also circulated in the Azores under the decree of February 28, 1831." In 1836, the coinage was reformed and made decimal.
