This specimen was lot 1548 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "PORTUGAL: João V, 1706-1750, AV 400 reis, 1734. Not holed, as normally encountered, EF to About Unc." This type was struck in Lisbon 1718-48 and is often listed as a cruzado novo. It was officially worth 400 réis but traded for 480 réis.
