This specimen was lot 21366 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $1,762.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 20 Zlotych, 1836. PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, AU Details Secure Holder. Cleaned long ago now lightly toned. Sharply struck with good eye appeal." This issue was struck 1834-39 while Poland was under Russian rule (1815-1918). Twenty złotych equaled three rubles. Russian coinage for Poland ended in 1841. The initials ПД are for mintmaster Paul Danilov.
