This specimen was lot 75971 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $170.80. The catalog description^[1] noted, "PERU. Mint Error -- Struck 15% Off-Center -- Sol, 1975. Lima Mint. PCGS MS-62." This type was struck 1975-76 during one of Peru's inflationary periods. It was worthless then and is worthless now except for the mint error.

Recorded mintage: 354,485,000 including KM 248 (guanaco reverse).
