The twenty-five centavos denomination was little used in Peru, the twenty centavos being preferred. This twenty five centavos was struck 1968-73 and all dates can be had in any grade fro a few dollars. The previous sub-type (KM 246.1 of 1966-68) was slightly thicker.
Recorded mintage: 7,440,000.
Specification: 3.2 g, brass, 21.03 mm diameter.
