This specimen was lot 75855 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $170.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. Real, 1811-LIMAE JP. Lima Mint. Ferdinand VII. PCGS FINE-15. Imaginary Bust variety. From the Richard August Collection." This imaginary bust of the imprisoned Ferdinand VII was used 1808-11. The 1809-11 are scarce and the 1808 is rare.
