This type was minted in 1689 as a sede vacante issue after the death of Innocent XI. The SCWC lists two different testone for 1689, one sede vacante (shown here) and one for Innocent XI. The testone was thirty baiocchi, while the piastra, the Italian equivalent of the German thaler, was 105 baiocchi (3½ testone).
