Papal States (1704) piastra Dav-1433

This date is a one year type struck in 1704 for Clement XI, one of fifteen different piastri struck in Rome during his reign. None are cheap. The piastra was the Italian equivalent of the German thaler.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
