Olmutz 1820 20 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 1990 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$170 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA | Olmütz, Bistum, Rudolph Johann von Österreich, 1819-1830. 20 Kreuzer 1820, Wien. Vorzüglich-FDC. Hübsche Patina. (bishopric of Olmutz, Rudolf John of Austria, 1819-30, twenty kreuzer of 1820, Vienna mint. Extremely fine-uncirculated, Attractively toned.)"
Archduke Rudolf Johann was the last archbishop to issue coins for his state. In 1820, he had minted a twenty kreuzer (shown here), half thaler, thaler and ducat. This ecclesiastical state was in Moravia, then part of Austria, now the Czech Republic.
