Olmutz 1659 15 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 3451 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$377 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Leopold Wilhelm, 1637-1662. 15 Kreuzer 1659, Vyskov. Mit Münzzeichen Davidstern. Selten. Sehr schön. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Leopold William, 1637-62, fifteen kreuzer of 1659, Vyskov mint, with Star of David mintmark. Rare, Very Fine.)"
Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic. This fifteen kreuzer was struck 1659, 1661, 1662 and was worth one-sixth of a thaler.
