Sincona sale 101, lot 3452

This specimen was lot 3452 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$377 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Leopold Wilhelm, 1637-1662. 3 Kreuzer 1659, Vyskov. Mit Münzzeichen Davidstern. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Leopold William, 1637-62, three kreuzer of 1659, Vyskov mint, with Star of David mintmark. Rare, Good Very Fine.)"

Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic. This three kreuzer was struck 1658-59 and was worth 1/30 of a thaler.

Recorded mintage: unknown but uncommon.
