This specimen was lot 438 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$439 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Nurnberg, City. 1/8 Taler 1693. Mit dem Münzmeisterzeichen G.F.N. (Georg Friedrich Nürnberger). Vorzüglich. Leicht justiert. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, one-eighth thaler of 1693, with the privy mark of Georg Friedrich Nürnberger. Extremely fine, Minor adjustment marks.)"
This type was struck 1693 only. It was the first eighth thaler issued since 1643.
