Sincona sale 51, lot 3238

This specimen was lot 3238 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$392 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Halbtaler 1693. Mit Titel Leopolds I. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Üblicher Stempelfehler. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, half thaler of 1693, struck in the name of Leopold I. Very fine-extremely fine, Usual die defect.)"

This one year type is uncommon.
