This specimen was lot 411 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$376 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Nurnberg, City. Taler 1636. Mit dem Münzmeisterzeichen Kreuz (Georg Nürnberger der Ältere). Sehr schön. Kleines Zainende und justiert. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, thaler of 1636, witht he privy mark of Georg Nürnberger the Elder. Very fine, Minor edge clip and adjusted.)"
This type was struck 1635-37 and is among the more common Nurnberger thalers.
