This specimen was lot 409 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 5,250 CHF (about US$6,578 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Nurnberg, City. Taler 1635. Mit dem Münzmeisterzeichen Stern (Hans David Lauer). Walzenprägung. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. Am Rand leicht justiert. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, thaler of 1635, cherub flying over the city, with the privy mark of Hans David Lauer. Very rare, Very fine, Minor adjustment marks at the edge.)"
