This specimen was lot 46074 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Nurnberg. Taler, 1626. Free City (in the name of Ferdinand II). NGC VF-35." This type was struck 1621-28 and is fairly common. Another similar thaler (Dav-5639, very rare), but with the obverse legend ending "NVRENBERGENSIS", was struck in 1626.
