This specimen is lot 1401 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, April 2010). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Carl XIV Johan, 1818-1844. Specie Daler, 1827/6 IGP. Kongsberg. Small draped bust r. of the former Napoleonic Marshal Bernadotte. Rv. Crowned shield. Plain edge, some obverse porosity and gray toning, moderate circulation. Extremely Fine. From the Eliasberg Collection." This type was issued by Sweden for Norway 1826-36. Most dates are rare; this one is only scarce.
