This specimen was lot 11124 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €576 (about US$600). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Skilling, 1688. Kongsberg Mint. Christian V. NGC AU-53. Very rarely seen in grades over F, this AU-designated specimen will surely turn a few heads, regardless of its diminutive size. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1687-88. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
