This specimen was lot 33743 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada: Newfoundland. Edward VII Large Cent 1904-H MS64 Red and Brown PCGS, Heaton mint. Attractive cumulous blends of red and brown toning throughout and a pleasing underlying luster." This type was struck 1904 at Heaton and 1907-09 at London for Newfoundland (then a separate colony). The cent was reduced to match the Canadian small cent in 1938 and coinage ceased in 1947.

Recorded mintage: 100,000 plus proofs.
