This specimen was lot 72576 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. Dutch East India Company. Overijssel. Duit, 1806. PCGS VF-35 Gold Shield. Some mild handling is noted, but this wholesome example is otherwise free from issue and presents a pleasing brown appearance." This type was struck at Overijssel 1803-06 and is common. Duits were also made for the Batavian Republic at Holland and Gelderland.
