Sincona sale 43, lot 3658

The Netherlands was the last country to struck ducats on a regular basis. This type, a refreshed version of a type struck basically unchanged 1815-1937, is common tho the 1960 is slightly scarcer. Other dates include 1972-78. This specimen was lot 3658 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"THE NETHERLANDS, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Juliana 1948-1980 Dukat 1975. Polierte Platte. FDC. (kingdom of the Netherlands, Juliana, 1948-80, ducat of 1975. Prooflike.)"

Recorded mintage: 204,788.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, 21 mm diameter, reeded edge, this specimen 3.50 g.
