This specimen was lot 5913 in Goldberg sale 72 (Los Angeles, February 2013), where it sold for $414. The catalog description[2] noted, "Netherlands. 25 Cents, 1889. William III. Sharply struck with sparkling luster. NGC graded MS-65." This coin has about the same amount of silver as a dime but being only 0.640 fine, is rather larger. The purchaser of this lot obtained a bargain as this type is scarce in nice condition. It was issued 1849-53 and 1887-90.
