This specimen was lot 5336 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,098 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NASSAU, HERZOGTUM, Adolph, 1839-1866. Doppelgulden 1846. Mit großer "6" in der Jahreszahl. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (duchy of Nassau, Adolf, 1839-66, double gulden of 1846, with large "6" in the date. Extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
Of the two dates, 1846 and 1847, this is the slightly more available. This is the only issue of this denomination from this state, which was annexed to Prussia in 1866.
