This specimen was lot 2465 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 200 (about US$251 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Kronentaler 1836. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (crown thaler of 1836, very fine to extremely fine.)" This type is noted for 1831-33 and 1836-37. Mintages (where known) are small but the latter three dates are reasonably available.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.
