This specimen was lot 39011 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Milan. Scudo (6 Lire), Milan Mint. 1785-LB. Giuseppe II (Joseph II). NGC AU-58." This type was struck for Joseph II 1781-86 and succeeded a similar coin made for Maria Theresia (Dav-1386). It was superseded by the kronenthaler or crocione of 1786-90. Austria lost Milan to the French in 1797.
