This specimen was lot 4848 in Goldberg sale 74 (Los Angeles, June 2013), where it sold for $207 including buyer's fees. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States - Milan. Quattrino, 1777. Copper. Maria Theresa. Trace of mint red. NGC graded MS-61 Brown." This type was struck 1776-79 and is priced fairly low in the SCWC but it is likely scarcer than it appears, especially in nice condition. A quattrino was one eightieth of a lira.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 1.61-2.15 g, copper, 17 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-182.
