This specimen was lot 10445 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $164. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Middlesex. Halfpenny Tokens, 1796. Spence’s. John Thelwall; Reverse: Libertas. Lacquered, probably removable. ABOUT UNCIRCULATED. From the Estate of Michael K. Ringo."
