This specimen was lot 57327 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $1,140. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 1 Kilogram "Aztec Calendar" Silver 100 Pesos, 2011. GEM PROOF. Number 812. Includes complete original packaging with display stand, loupe, informational booklet, and numbered certificate of authenticity." The second specimen was lot 21315 in Heritage sale 61630 (Dallas, February 2024), where it sold for $1,440. The lot description[2] noted, "Mexico: Estados Unidos silver Prooflike "Aztec Calendar" 100 Pesos (Kilo) 2011-Mo PL69 NGC, Mexico City mint." This was not the only hundred pesos issued by Mexico in 2011; there are six bimetallic "Numismatic Heritage" (KM 950, KM 951, 952, 953, 954, KM 955) from that year. The SCWC lists this type for 2010 only but, obviously, other dates exist.

Recorded mintage: 1,500.

Specification: 1000 g, 0.999 fine silver, 110 mm diameter, 35.274 troy oz ASW.
