This specimen was lot 3777 in Goldberg sale 70 (Los Angeles, September 2012), where it sold for $2,041. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico. 50 Pesos, 1947. Centennial of Independence. Winged Victory. Almost Uncirculated to Uncirculated." The type was struck 1921-47. No date is rare but this is the restrike date so we don't know why this specimen would bring a premium over bullion.
Recorded mintage: 309,000 (not including restrikes).
Specification: 41.67 g, 0.900 fine gold, 1.205 troy oz AGW, 37 mm diameter.
