This specimen was lot 907 in Ponterio sale 164 (New York, January 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 2 Escudos, 1782-FF. Charles III (1759-88). VERY FINE." This type is known for 1773-88; the subtype KM 130.2a, known for 1785-88, is lower in fineness but is otherwise identical.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
