The Maldives are an island group in the Indian Ocean; they were a protectorate of Britain 1887-1968. The natives make their living by fishing. Global climate change, with its accompanying sea level rise, has made many Maldivians fear for the future of their homes. This type, featuring bonito fish, was struck 1984 and 1990. It is the last of its denomination.
