This specimen was lot 4876 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$201 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND Lucerne, Angster 1790, Luzern. Silberabschlag. Fast FDC (canton of Luzern, angster of 1790, Luzern mint, struck in silver. About uncirculated)." An angster was half a rappen or 1/20 of a batzen. This type was struck in 1775, 1790, 1804, 1811, 1823, 1832, 1834. The silver strike is not mentioned in the SCWC.
