This specimen was lot 75618 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $69. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Luzern. Rappen, 1789. PCGS MS-64 Brown." This type was struck in copper 1774, 1787-89, 1795-96, 1804 and in silver in 1787. One thaler was forty batzen and one batzen was ten rappen.
